Moto Racer 3 comes packed with more diversity than you could have ever thought possible in a single title. Ride superbikes at blurring speeds on authentic race tracks or venues in Paris, doing your best to avoid Parisian drivers. Hop onto an off-road motorcycle and powerslide through countless hairpin curves in motocross and supercross tracks, or try some freestyle, jump off the biggest ramp you can find and rack up points for the craziest mid-air tricks. Finally, beat physics into submission while riding an enduro bike and do your best not to fall off tracherous obstacle courses in the insanely difficult and satisfying trial mode. Moto Racer 3 has got something for everyone and does an admirable job at it, too!
The Gold edition comes with tons of improvements, new tracks, new motorcycle models, crazy bonus vehicles and an enhanced graphics engine.
A broad range of gameplay modes from freestyle to superbike racing.
Run the largest circuits in the world: Suzuka Circuit, Stade de France, Barcelona, Eastern Creek.
Drive your superbike through traffic without risking a thing.

I love Moto Racer 1 and 2 but this.... this is a sh#@t game. Nothing works well here, no campaigns, horrible music and other sounds even menu is ugly. thank you Atari for this Crap :'(
I loved the first Moto Racer on the PlayStation as was quite surprised to find out that the PC version features a level that the PS1 version doesn't have, the snow level.
Moto Racer 2 on PC was my first time ever playing the second entry in the series and it seems to improve massively on the first installment. Very fun.
Moto Racer 3 though....wow.....as if they planned to turn the series into something completely else, a horrible menu UI design, extremely unresponsive controls and nothing is there that made the first two games so fun.
A totally bland and generic thing that doesn't even resemble the franchise in the slightest.
It's kinda weird game. Personally I don't mind more serious approach than in MR1-2, which were pure arcade silliness and fun without a bit of realism but it has different issues. In fact quite radical change of tone and playing with "simcade" formula isn't new in this franchise because in many respects official third entry follows spin-off: Moto Racer World Tour. Most of the game modes and some tracks as well as realistic physics were copied from released year earlier PS1 exclusive but instead of improving and expanding, this sequel seems to lost it's way. While in MRWT modes like Trial (obstacle course), Freestyle (doing tricks for high score) or Traffic (1v1 race on city streets) were just secondary additions and the main dish was still track racing (both on dirt and pavement) and various championships, MR3 tries to give equal attention to all of them but in effect feels lacking, empty and unfinished in most regards. Like it's technological demo of the new engine; collection of minigames rather than coherent and well thought product.
Strangest thing about MR3 is lack of any kind championship/career mode. Instead the only progression is unlocking new tracks through points earned in single competitions. But as there are only couple arenas per category, everything can be easily unlocked in like 2 hours. Additionally there are no limitations whatsoever so one can simply repeat favorite race over and over to farm points fast. And then what? Only thing to do is trying to beat your records. Not terribly exciting if you ask me. Personally I don't care about Trial or Freestyle, Traffic is kinda disappointing with too little variety (I guess maybe in 2001 it looked more appealing) which leaves me with single races in superbike and motocross categories, with 4-5 tracks each (too few and even selection is step back compared to MRWT which had more diverse and interesting locations). Racing on those is still pretty fun but it's fun only for little while before getting bored.
The racing part of this game feels disjointed - in fact the entire game kinda feels like a series of minigames in a package that is held together with a common engine that they are running on, but otherwise pretty insulated.
The controls for the racing part are somewhat floaty, and while the visuals and sounds could have been considered impressive for the time, they are really nothing to be write home about. At the non-sale price it is quite overpriced, I would not pay anything over $5 for this game, but to me it always had one and half redeeming feature. The half is the traffic, I always found it very fun to zip around, and this game has notably more traffic, even if it's acting totally erratically and is in no way predictable (so I suppose it is somewhat realistic, as you're racing around Paris).
The main attraction, for me at least, was always the trial mode. Unlike the previous games (or rather game, as the the trial mode was only present in World Tour for the PlayStation before), where the racing modes were clearly the main dish, with everything else acting like garnish, here the devs kinda tried to make all modes equal, and this resulted in what I think is still the best videogame depiction of motorcycle trials (obstacle courses).
Now obviously it's a pretty niche sport within a niche itself, but if you want to have a somewhat realistic depiction of motorcycle trials, this is the best it ever got (as far as I know), as it's full-3D and features somewhat realistic physics (for 2001 anyway). UbiSoft's Trials series took off about half a decade afterwards, but that game is essentially 2D, and is anything but realistic (even though it's fun).
So, tl;dr, not really worth it if you're looking for motorcycle racing, the previous games are arguably superior, but if you are a trials fan, this is a very fun little time waster.
