Too many bugs
The game is full of bugs. Even with the last version it stucks in infinite loops in the "chapter" loading and the only way to move forward is to uninstall and reinstall it.

Underrated flawed jam.
Yep, you read the title right. Mafia 3 is an underrated jam which has it's flaws. I am saying this as an old fan of the franchise who played the OG Mafia back in 2002 when it was released and I fell in love. The story in Mafia 3 is so damn good. I like it more than Mafia 2's story. A guy who was in the marines comes back home but after a short time of peace, he will understand the meaning of betrayal. The rackets missions between the main story missions were a little too much if you ask me but apart from that, the game is awesome. I don't get it why Mafia 3 is getting all the hate. It has it's flaws, yeah, but it's a great game. The characters are awesome. Lincoln is a total badass and John Donoval kicks ass, funny guy. I liked the fact that they brought Vito back. The gameplay is cool, I didn't have technical issues as a lot of people say they did. I dunno, the game ran smoothly on my part. The music is a big part of the experience. Those oldies songs are *chef's kiss*. The developers created a catalogue of great songs from that era. I rate it 4/5. I play it from time to time and I always enjoy it.

This game freeze on first mission. Something that was known in 2016 (thread on reddit with no solution), and 2017(thread on steam with no solution) and 2018 (people adding this problem to general Mafia III bugs threads). There is no patch to that and solutions are "set lowest graphic setting, and set 30 fps - it MAY works". Beacsue that's why you buy PC version. To have console graphic. There was also micro freeze planes as game cannot maintain steady FPS at all settings.

Wanted to love this
I do love the idea, the setting, the music, the style, the characters but I really dislike the chore like repetitiveness of everything, games of this kind usually are but this here has been done in a way that it kind of sucks any fun out of playing it, maybe some cool features like being able to listen to the music you have found album covers to would have been a neat addition or could you imagine finding 8 track tapes around you could stick in your car, even so just running all over the place to collect stuff or wading through the same thing over and over again just to get to a cut scene is not much of a game, although also repetitive I enjoyed Mafia II way more as a game and also L.A Noire. This had the potential to be legendary but it's about as much fun as housework.
