I can't give 5/5 with the near-end minigame I think most people will agree on that and some other things But this is a must play for point&click fans

Absolutely stunning.
I'll preface this by saying I have a terrible weakness forgames that look hand-drawn and have a cool aesthetic, and an even bigger weakness for robots. This game hits both marks. Machinarium is a stylish, clever game with an intuitive user interface, a helpful method of gaining access to sometimes much-needed hints that doesn't feel out-of-place or like hand-holding, and a delightful world filled to the brim with suggestions of a deeper, more complex lore. The villains often have as much in common with schoolyard bullies as they do genuine monsters, and, you know what? Somehow, that works. It works incredibly well- probably because it's more accessible to most us than the threat of robo-terrorism. There are jazzy robo-buskers, pious robo-church ladies, robot cats, robot rats, robot birds and bees and butterflies- there are robot bartenders and robot five-in-a-row players who are bad winners and bad losers. And there's you, the plucky little robot underdog who never gets discouraged and, somehow, has an overflowing personality without ever saying an actual word. The world of Machinarium is rich and immersive and surprisingly natural, really, for what it is. I'd thought the game would be shorter than it is but was pleasantly surprised to find that it holds its own as a full narrative, consistent without being repetitive, and always filled with things to look at. And listen to. Don't even get me started on the soundtrack.

Clever and imaginative
I love this game. The artwork is great and the puzzles and mini-games are clever, varied and ingenious. The way the characters act and communicate is cute and imaginative.

Original Design at its best
I definitely stepped out of my comfort zone to play this. I'm usually into FPS and grand strategy game but when I heard about Machinarium's unique aesthetics I most certainly had to give it a shot. Well, after playing through I have to say I wish there was more. There was only two points really that I got stuck and it was really do to my impatience and obsessive overthinking. The game really forces you to slow down and pay attention, and you should, all of the environments are beautiful, the characters are cute, and as simple as the story is, the amount of detail each step of the way is breathtaking. I was lucky to have stepped upon this game because it has given me a perspective on gaming that is not all run and gun, or even uses a strategy (which I laughably tried spamming the mouse everywhere for interaction). If you are looking for clean visuals, a simple yet emotion filled story, and something completely different than anything you played, do pick this up. Worth every penny.

Like the oldschool adventures
It was a long time since such a lovely designed adventure appeared. Beautiful music in an awesome designed world with tricky puzzles and an adorable main character. I also like the concept of 'not speaking' by showing little sequences in speak bubbles. everything fits and sometimes there are really difficult parts. I don't know if I like the included walkthrough or not. sometimes the temptation is too high ;) For me it was the first game I bought on GOG and it made me stay. And after a few weeks it's playable again without rushing through the whole game. Well done!!!
