Great Retro Shooter - Don't miss the DLC
The game is pretty fun & fast, the soundtrack is great. The only downpoint is that enemies design is a bit too safe , but hopefully they are fun to kill. Don't miss the Aftershock DLC , it's great and improves the game.

Bombshell
How can something so unique and new be filled with so much nostalgia and beauty? There's a term I read about a while back... ''Hauntology''. Basically the concept is that our vision of the future is stuck in this present zeitgeist with our love for the past. Futuristic music sounds like the 80's. Movies are all obsessed with references and callbacks to the past or better things that come before. This game has both and is comfortably unique while feeling like deja vu. It's fun. It's fast. It's loud and brutal. But it's not so complex and mind numbing to bore you. Also, it runs pretty great on Android with touch, or a controller using ZetaTouch. I'm only paying for it here to support the work but I do love playing it on the bus on my phone.

Great throwback shooter
It's just great if you like Duke Nukem, Blood and Shadow Warrior and that kind of games. And Aftershock is totally worth it.

if the game crashes when changing setting on linux just close the game and run this on console one time: chmod 777 /home/`whoami`/.config/fury/fury.cfg Great retro shooter with multiple paths to finish a level.

Boomshoot Genre Perfection
This game reminded me of what made me start loving games in the first place: consistently perfect level design. The levels in Ion Fury not only make for great exploration and combat encounters, but they also feel like real places. The cyberpunk aesthetics in both sublime (synth) music and art design only help to cement this perfection by creating a world that the 90s envisioned as the near future. The only slightly low point in the entire game is the final boss, but it's really about the journey and not the destination. I originally bought this on the Series X, and it was so good that I needed the DLC so I bought the combo here on GOG., then I bought it for my girl on Playstation. I haven't actually played the DLC yet but considering how good the main campaign is I'm glad I bought it if for nothing more than to support Voidpoint. The GOG version is the superior version; the colors pop more and the controller is far more precise. So for anyone who prefers a controller this game will comfortably accommodate you even on higher difficulties.
