Kitsch

It's pretty clear that only the style of this game mattered during development. Gameplay and plot were just afterthoughts and that shows. The gameplay is sluggish, bland and without any challenge. The "story" is your basic video game nonsense. Well, that might not have mattered that much if the art was any good. It isn't. It's kitsch. It's the video game equivalent of a wall tattoo. It looks like decor paintings you can buy at IKEA. To be more precise: It's obviously inspired by "French" decor paintings that have been inspired by haute couture sketches, paired with a bit of minimalist greeting card design. It's made to be appealing, not to be artistic. And that is basicly what every video game tries to do, but usually isn't so pretentious about.

Plus "cinematic" que "platformer"

Jeu de plateforme très mignon avec des décors et une musique intéressants. Les décors "ruines immenses", ainsi que certains éléments de gameplay (le chant et le vol comme interactions principales avec l'environnement) m'évoquent fortement un Journey en 2D. Le fait de ne pas taper sur quelque chose et d'avoir peu d'ennemis fait du bien. Les énigmes sont faisables (et pourtant je suis incroyablement mauvais normalement), et la partie "plateforme" est globalement correcte (quelques petits sauts qui m'ont frustré, mais la majorité se laisse faire sans déplaisir). Petit bémol pour moi: le jeu est très dirigiste, et le joueur a une liberté très faible sur l'ordre des tâches à accomplir, ou sur l'exploration. De même, on peut contrôler le personnage pendant certaines cinématiques, mais de façon très limitée (je me suis surpris parfois à me demander si mes commandes avaient vraiment une influence, ou si le script de la cinématique était parfois par hasard en accord avec mes commandes). Le jeu n'est pas le meilleur jeu de tous les temps, mais il se laisse finir sans déplaisir, et vous ne regretterez certainement pas votre achat si vous aimez Journey (ou autres jeux "contemplatifs") et que vous avez 3-4h et envie de faire saigner votre petit coeur sensible. En revanche, si vous cherchez un jeu de plateforme plus orienté "action", passez votre chemin.

Brilliant art, full of bugs

I was enjoying this game but this is third time I've run into a progress blocking bug where the game gets stuck during or after a cutscene. If I could get a refund for it, I would. Because of bugs I cannot recommend this game.

Frustrating and often illogical mechanic

First half was very nice and relaxing, clever puzzles that was not too annoying, no getting lost. Second half started getting on my nerves - several hard puzzles (for me), some even after finding solution on YT because you had to time lots of jumps etc. After getting stuck 3/4 into the game, underwater in a almost totally black area with no lights so I can't see a thing, I quit and watched the ending instead! You can turn yourself to a stoneblock, which is one of few mechanics the game has, to crush stuff below you for various puzzles. I pretty soon tested that when jumping into the water, thinking it would make you sink to the bottom, but it didn't take me deeper at all. Tried multiple times! Later on in the game I got stuck at a place, and guess what the solution was? Turn into that cube and jump into water, cause at that particular place it takes you to the bottom. There were another place, one-time-only in the whole game, where you need a tripple-jump to advance. Nowhere the game teach you that, and I see many others complain about this since you can't do it any other place - not logical at all. Overall annoying game for me, not relaxing, rather frustrating. I came straight from infamously hard Kingdom Come Deliverance, almost thinking it was too easy, but this game was harder and more frustrating....not to compare RPG to platformer, but yeah, strange many think this game is totally chill and not hard at all...

2D tech demo

What can I say that has not been said. The art work is phenominal and pretty much the only reason why I bought it. Soundtrack is also good. Apart from that, the game is just another standart 2d platformer that based on the descriptions might be bit too self congratulatory or whatever. TLDR: Average platformer with amazing art.
