Full Throttle Remastered

Step one.. Go to options, click classic graphics and undo any features remake may have to offer. Step two.... begin game, and start playing one of the best point and click adventure games of all time. Step three... every once and a while go back to the trash main menu and take notice of how far the genre has fallen, how ridiculous and soft everything has to be. Step four... keep playing amazing amazing game until you are finished. And no.. do not look at a walkthrough, it will be much better when the credits roll if you dont. Enjoy!

I thought the story was alright, although the plot was a little childish. Graphics of the remaster look nice, especially compared to the original's graphics. Gameplay is decent. The problem is that puzzle solving can be annoying and difficult...which was typical of 90's PC point and click games. Overall, I recommend it, but on a sale.

It's Christmas with cherries on top and a kickstand. Full Throttle was the first game I have ever bought and being able to revisit this one of a kind classic gives me absolute pleasure. Yes, it is short and yes, I know every line of text by heart, but the almost perfect point and click from the studio that did everything just about right back then has been uplifted without damaging the core of the game.

Nostalgia attack!!! These remastered editions by Double Fine from golden-era LucasArts are priceless for me. Nostalgia aside, as with DF's other remastered editions, this is not some slap-dash attempt to make money off our nostalgia. It's obvious that they put in a lot of effort restoring the game with HD graphics and nice cleaned up sound. I'm especially enjoying the HD cutscenes. The effort is clear when switching seamlessly between the the original and remastered with F1, which also shows the different aspect ratio and the new art they needed to add to fill in the widescreen. Top quality! Thank you, DF and GOG. Please continue the tradition with remastering Loom, Indiana Jones Last Crusade/Fate of Atlantis, Maniac Mansion and the other classics!

Aimant le rationnel j'ai eu un peu de mal avec les énigmes de ce réputé Full Throttle. A l'humour déjanté, à l'instar d'un Grim Fandango, héritier de Monkey Island, l'intrigue du jeu se passe dans un univers aux semblants post-apocalyptique où vous incarné un héros BADASS qui va résoudre une affaire de meurtre contre l'ennemi juré du biker rebel que vous êtes : Un Costar Cravate !!! Mais malheureusement la courte durée de l'intrigue ne permet pas vraiment de se plonger dans cette univers à la Mad Max, sans parlé de la simplicité du scénario qui ne sauve pas les meubles. La seule chose qui permet de passer un bon moment sont surtout des dialogues riches qui vous feront souvent mourir de rire. Un jeu sympathique mais trop court. Dommage.
