A peculiar JRPG in which you pray before a Catholic altar to restore your health after fighting violent Hussites, cultists and heretical abominations. It's interesting how culturally distinct this game feels, even though it's technically just another JRPG about a knight fighting monsters. It proves there are still some unexplored realms in video games as a medium. One thing I couldn't get used to was the game's persistent use of archaic language. The characters speak with "thou" and "ye", which was funny at first, but in the end felt a bit too much. Overall, it's a unique game with unique merits. An instance of real cultural enrichment if you will.

A bit short, but the animations, story and graphics make up for it.

I bought this game blindly after looking at the trailer only. It got me hooked up. It really is a small gem, especially for its wonderful style. The only complaint I have is that there aren't any in-game or GOG achievement, which would give a sense on replaying some parts to get different outcomes. I personally did it either way going through the game, however in different occasions I found myself lost, not understanding if it was worth it trying over and over some battle and some choices. And even when figuring out some quests or finding hidden items, it doesn't feel great. And that is because unfortunately most of the times it improves the gameplay just a bit, if it even changes something at all! That's something which left me a little annoyed, after the exitement of successfully guessing something in the game. I don't want to ask to update the game and insert more paths in the game, I would be happy if some achievements get added in the game. I think it would be the most simple solution to the problem, it would improve exploration and replayability by A LOT. It would really be the 5th star for me. (15 hours and 6 minutes played at the time I'm writing this review)

A bit short, from what i've heard but i love the humor, aesthetic and gameplay so much. Probably the best game from Slovakia.
