Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition

the base game alone has so many ways to play it that I've played through it 6 times in just over a month

L'ambiance totalement réussite nous ramène vers les premiers jeux. C'est vraiment un plaisir que d'explorer le Mojave même avec son clipping violent. New Vegas est un jeu où il y a énormément à dire. Je vais plus me pencher sur les inconvénients pour donner mon avis : Histoire : Bonne écriture avec plusieurs factions mais ici nous avons un soucis ; se ranger du côté de la Légion nous donne que peu de possibilités. Cette voie souffre d'un manque de quêtes. Les DLC sont dans l'ensemble de bonne qualité (mention à Old World Blues) MAIS Lonesome Road se vautre ! Plusieurs fins des aventures ajoutées nous parlent de la Ligne de Partage comme l'affrontement ultime avec une histoire incroyable pour au final se retrouver avec un scénario peu exploité et rien de bien intéressant. C'est vraiment une énorme déception ! IA : C'est la même que le 3. Donc nous avons la même intelligence : il est facile d'éliminer les ennemis avec un silencieux en furtif ; ils réagissent quasiment pas ! Karma : Nous rencontrons ici un énorme problème ; il est très difficile se maintenir à un mauvais karma. Pourquoi ? Eh bien, tuer certains ennemis vous font gagner du bon karma et ça peut très vite vous faire basculer ! Est-ce vraiment RP ? Expérience : Les DLC sont bien trop généreux en terme de gain d'expérience ! On peut facilement monter de 3 à 5 niveaux par lieu. On se retrouve bien trop fort et on explose littéralement la courbe de difficulté ! Il y a bien d'autres choses à dire sur cet opus. Aussi, je tiens à mentionner le mode survie qui est excellent et donne vraiment une autre approche de notre quête. J'apprécie aussi les mini-jeux implantés : roulettes, machines à sous et surtout : le Caravan ! J'adore ce genre de jeu de cartes ! Dommage qu'il n'y ai pas une aventure dédiée comme un tournoi ou autre. Ce Fallout est un bon RPG. Cependant, on voit bien que les développeurs ont manqué de temps pour le finaliser. Il y a un vrai manque de contenu, cela nuit aux joueurs par moment.

Great game for being an open world rpg with shooter elements added into it. In comparison to fallout 3 the armor system now actually has components to it that matter, enemies are much more versatile than before, and the story is well versed with different options on how you want to go through/end it. Obsidian overall did well with a budget time of a year from Bethesda. However with all this in mind, there are a some mods that are recommended to fix some of the bugs/mistakes left behind. Recommended: NOTE: FOMM (Fallout Mod Manager recommended for installing most if not all mods) Yukichigai Unofficial Patch - YUP - fixes bugs and errors that wern't already addressed in the final update. Unofficial Patch Plus - The same as above however it includes more bugfixes that couldn't be added to YUP's mod because of the no plugin limitation. Vanilla UI Plus - Fixes some of the bugs in the UI that weren't already fixed; While also adding expanding the UI for a more PC friendly view. New Vegas Stutter Remover - Fixes some of the stuttering that can/could be noticed ingame as well as feel smoother or perform better. Jsawyer mod or Jsawyer Ultimate Edition (for a more modern/updated version) - Amps up the difficulty without making enemies bullet sponges, so consider if you want a more fallout experience than vanilla. Optional: Manual Reload v2 - Stops guns from magically reloading if you reequip or switch to another weapon and go back to the original one. Clarity - Removes the orange tint added throughout the entire game, including dlc Uncut Wasteland - If you want to re-add some of the stuff cut from the original games production due to console limitations/budget constraints

New Vegas is the best Fallout 3D. This is a really good game, the variety of consequences surpases some modern titles with no problems. Play this game if you are tired of nuclear themed parks.
