Best City Builder Ever!

There have been many city building games before it and many after it, but this stands as the best city building game ever made for me. It has it's rough spots, some just quirks of the series it's in, but it's also the most fun the genre has ever been. There are many newer titles that takle the genre such as entries in the Anno series , but this is still the only game that's so good at what it does that you don't care when it was made or how it looks, or how many times you've replayed it.

Must Buy

I am a massive fan of all the city builder games. Pharoh, Caesar, zeus etc. This is absolutely fantastic game if you like the likes of the others. Infact id go as far as to say it is the best. I completed the game, downloaded all the player made campaigns and am still left wanting more. Im absolutely gutted that i have no campaigns left to play, to the extent that i am considering replaying the whole game again. If anyone knows of anywhere to download more campaigns other than the emperor heaven website please let me know! emma@auk2000.co.uk

Sseth Wei Cheng here. Absolutely amazing city builder, still actual until today. Rich graphics age great and still look fantastic. Game itself is nice and has a huge replayability potential.

The finest city-builder

Emperor: RotMK is quite simply the finest of the Sierra/Impressions city builders. All of the systems in Emperor are the most refined versions compared to Zeus, Pharoah, and the other previous games in the series. You have the most control over the walkers and there's the fewest annoyances. The 2D graphics look nice and is still very playable even given this game is almost old enough to vote. Like the others in the series, the voice-overs are great for a laugh. If you have any interest in a Sierra city-builder that is one of the finest of the genre, Emperor is quite simply the finest of the craft and really shows the experience and benefits of incremental improvement.

The best city builder

I have to say this is the most refined version of the Caesar III, Pharaoh, Zeus and Emperor saga. When you install the full hd patch, the game looks better than ever. I suggest people start with this title and go reverse through the titles to Pharaoh. Caesar III is the hardest of the series due to no roadblocks and if you wish the ultimate challenge, that is the game.
