Dungeons of Edera

Pros: 1) Many levels of difficulty, I'm old, I play on easy 2) Loot, lots of it 3) Change class by changing weapons 4) Visuals are pretty good 5) Voice acting is top notch 6) Quests are endless 7) Feels a bit like WoW-lite, but no monthly fees and pause the game at any time 8) Lots to do, crafting different things, exploring, completing quests, leveling Cons: 1) I'd would have liked the casting to be a tiny bit faster 2) I'd would have liked their to be more attractive females wandering around (hehe) 3) The mobs are ok but not great looking, still ok tho I'm glad I got this game, I'm going to recommend it to my bro too. Thanks for making it and thanks for selling it on GoG

i've had a ton of interest in this game, for a while, because it seems to have a lot of craft that i look for in a game; -a pleasant visual theme -exploration and looting in procedural environments -a surprisingly thorough and immersive character-controller engine each of these elements are in the game, but are (in my opinion), quite bogged down by some very rough/unpolished main facets of the game; -menus and interactives feel cluttered and un-thematic. -both procedural and bespoke level composition feel empty and uninhabited. -the sound copmpsition is very jarring (startlingly loud dialogue, mumble soft combat sounds, and overworld ambiance is anywhere from sterile to absent). -the character visuals are objectively janky (bad overlaps and posing) [IMO pretty unforgivable]. my takeaway from this type of situation would usually be "lets hold out for the full release, and maybe these problems will be addressed" -but the game is already in 1.0, and the problems that i ran into are not the type that should have been allowed into a post-launch product, in the first place. however, i believe in the adage: NEVER SAY NEVER-- and i am willing to revisit this game, if a major improvement is brought to my attention.

This is a fun dungeon adventure game that really lets you feel like an adventurer fighting through enemies. A variety of enemies keeps it interesting and they can be deceptively hard sometimes. The amount of loot is so satisfying too, you never know when you're gonna open a chest that contains a better sword or shield. 10/10 Highly recommend.

This is a pretty bare bones review because other already wrote ones better than I ever could and I'm mostly writting this to say that this game is pretty much still in alpha maybe beta if you want to be genorous. Now to the point of the review thze game is unfinished and abandoned so we won't get any more updates.
