Got it to play multplayer
Got the DS Collection to play Dungeon Siege 1 in LAN multiplayer. Multiplayer mode disabled in DS1 :(

Missing expansions
I love Dungeon Siege. I love Dungeon Siege 2. They are two of my all time favorite games. I put in so many hours on both. However, this doesn't include the Legends of Aranna expansion for the first game nor the Broken World expansion for the second game. While small, both of those expansions have great gameplay features and offer significant story continuation. It is hard to recommend this one with both of those expansions missing.

Awesome games, lacks expansions
There is much to say about DS I, DS II, DS III, but i'd prefer just leave with "gems" conclusion. Although this release lacks of some important expansions for DS I and DS II, which is kinda sad, but still there is no reason to lower rates for this games on GOG. Something is telling me, that they would be released here later. For now, i recommend everyone to try this collection, despite the fact there is no "Legends of Aranna" and "Broken World" included.

Great classic but missing content.
First game is old, mechanics are a bit archaic and story is very linear to the bone. E.g. there is no "hub", You have to rush forward to get to next city or go huge way back to previous one, no portals no waypoints. Additionally it misses dlc. Yet it still Has some charm. Second game is a real hem here! All "archaic mechanics" from first one are fine and updated more up to their time, character development is nice and complex, and even linear plot is not a problem thanx to tons of sidequests and secrets. Yet it is incomplete! Yes, the true ending was added in dlc which is missing (remember diablo 2 and dark wanderer?) And without it game is ending with a cliffhanger like having whole story without two final episodes if not that it would be absolute 5* Third gamę is... Well it is very nice much more "modern" feel hns but it is totally different than first two games. It's much more action than RPG but it is complete, Has dlc and is really nice piece of hns. So this rating is mostly for Dungeons Siege 2 as it is best of three games, and would deserve 5* if it Has dlc.

Great to have them back. But, no exp? :(
I played these games for hours and hours as a teenager and I am so glad to see them on GOG, runs without issue on Win10 and modded easily with the Legendary Mod that brings DS 1/2 together on the DS2 engine. The game runs smoothy, you increase your skills and stats by actually using the relevant attack type which is a mechanic I always enjoyed. There is plenty of freedom in your builds, you aren't locked to a class or pathway as such. Great freedom, great world, and fantastic music to explore to! However, it is really disappointing that the expansions are not released in this pack and I cannot understand why? Also, lack of multiplayer? :(
