Drakensang is a third-person party-based RPG based on the pen & paper role-play rules of The Dark Eye. Drakensang is the first PC game for over 10 years to be based on Germany's most successful and popular role-play system. Drakensang builds on the pen & paper rules as applied in version 4.0. The developers have optimized the rulebook specially for the PC realization in order to make the game more accessible. Hidden gem

We need to go back to the days of rpgs like this. Where companies could make something original and not rehashing the same games over and over. If you enjoy mmo's this game is for you. Just subtract the online nature, which actually plays into the games strengths instead of making everyone in an mmo as the main character. You know the game. Stay away from it, play older rpgs and rediscover what real storytelling and lore is.

Very Good.

I'm enjoying it a lot. This game has a soul, not like modern gaming. THis alows you to truly inmerse in another world with different cultures and fantasy races.

Childhood classic

I watched my dad play this, I played this myself ten years ago and right now I´m doing a second playthrough for a mod...The sequel is not on GOG but I would definitely recommend it if you like this one...It has many qol features and has more player interaction/choices that matter. Old School Fun

Great selection of classes and combat similar to Dragon Age. This game did it first. The graphics are nice and runs well on modern machines. Highly recommended.
