2D point&click games are not dead!

I was a great fan of scriptwelder's free flash minigames so when I heard about his next project -- Don't escape: 4 days in a wasteland -- I couldn't wait to play it! I've been waiting since 2017 and I have to say the game lives up to all my expectations. It's an excellent 2D point&click adventure which offers lots of fun. The game may be inconspicuous at first, but there's much more to it that it seems. Each playthrough may be different, so make sure to check the game at least twice! Oh, and I loved all the places where the authort clearly relates to his previous games :)

Great Atmospheric Quest!

This game is awesome. I'm not into quests much, but do occasionally and I'm happy I found this one. This is a gem. Pros: - Good characters - Good story - Good atmosphere - Good music - Things make sense and are logical. Cons: - Finished the game, so no more awesome content left.

Makes you feel something

There are only a few games which make you write a review and this is one of them. I guess it touched some soul strings and left me in somewhat emotional state. The story is depressing and provokes you asking yourself "What would I do?" It's sci-fi at its best and point & click at it's best. The author even randomized some of the events, so your run would probably be different from mine.

Nice, but too simple and expansive...

Ok, the game isn't bad, but it's very repetitive, basically you have to the same things again and again and again, for 3 days...on the fourth, things change a bit, but still, something is missing...the story is interesting and the music is immersive...thought I felt like this game should have done more to entertain me...Puzzles were very intuitive and it was quite obvious for me, what's next...so it was just a matter of running around and collecting objects to put them somewhere else...the interface sometimes is very annoying, for example, when your inventory is full, and you need to take an object, you can't simply swap the object you want with the one you wanna leave...you must first empty a slot, and then you can put the object in your backpack or in the storage box. 3 stars isn't a bad rate...but I think giving it 5 stars would mean greatly overestimate this game...also it is very short, and for the same money or just a bit more, you can buy masterpieces that will guarantee days (not just 4/5 hours) of entertainment...in the end, I feel like I overpaid for something that is just ok, and by the reviews seemed to be fantastic...but as they said in ancient Rome... "Degustibus non disputandum est".

An absolute blast of a game

if you like old-school point and click adventures and whacky storytelling this game is guaranteed fun. The puzzles are a little on the easy side, even considering that you have to manage inventory space and time (certain actions consume time, just faffing around a single location doesn't), but the multiple possible endings offers some welcome replayability. Great overall, would like to see more of this.
