I love this game
I have replayed this game multiple times and will do so again in the future. I will admit to cheating in some of the play throughs but if you beat a game a few times with out cheating it kinda spices up the game play with cheating. At least it does for me.

My Favorite RPG Of All Time
This was the game that got me into gaming. The game that I spent hundreds of hours playing and playing again, levelling up, determined to be.. well, awesome! This game is truly nostalgic for me. At one point I was almost reduced to tears! The combat system and RPG elements are very deep and well thought out. It features a brilliant storyline and great graphics. This RPG is level with Fallout in my opinion in terms of required ownership. You simply cannot call yourself an RPG enthusiast until you've owned this game, and for $5.99, you will not regret it.

Mostly fun to play
An interesting story, a very large game world to explore and multiple side quests make this one a gem of RPG's. You can also pretty much design your character to your liking and with three different path to follow it bode well for replay ability. However the story is so linear that the only reason to replay it would be to try a different approach, like a Mage or a Thief instead of a Warrior but otherwise, once you know the ending and how the quests are resolved, there's little if any interest left. An other issue is that you may accidentally uncover an item needed to complete a quest and get rid of it one way or an other and thus, later on, find that you can't complete it. Quite frustrating and could have been easily prevented. Progression of your character through higher levels of competence, direly required if one expects to survive and win the game, is painfully slow and it gets worst as you go up in levels as you will need to kill many more and powerful adversaries to achieve the same meager results: five points to distribute between four possible traits (Although, depending on the path chosen, one of the four is much less relevant). I also found the interface quite imprecise making it very difficult to do certain critical tasks and making your character do unexpected things leading to certain death. Lots of frustration but such an otherwise good game that you'll be more than happy to have played it. Specially at GOG's low prices, a must game to have.

A Hidden Gem
My own experience with D.Divinity was: I installed the game maybe two or three months ago, played for maybe about five minutes and said, "This looks like Diablo with down-syndrome". How foolish I was. The game is incredibly rich; the voice-acting is superb, the quests are mature, the skill system is surprisingly robust, the music is great, the lore items are well written and it's just an all around great game. Do yourself a favor and play for 2-3 hours and you'll never look back.

Great Game
Bought this for my Asus Eee 900 netbook and it works great.(running a faster SSD than standard) Theres abit of slowdown if running in battery mode, but if you change the battery settings to MAX battery its fine. Well I had this game "back in the day" but never really got into it (too many games and not enough time). I have been playing this for about 3 hours and Im really liking it! Its done in the traditional top down view, has alot of speech and is generally ok. I think the devs are German (if I remember rightly) and there are a couple of typos in the text bits, but nothing that spoils the overall enjoyment of the game. One thing I did notice is there doesnt seem to be the intro included (the man wandering through the woods and finding the white cat, then inside a temple where some Goddess pops out) So not sure yet if any other cut scenes are, well, cut!
