THE BEST SPACE 4X GAME
Distant Worlds is the best space 4X I've ever played! This game is a massive RTS sandbox where you can play however you want—be a dictator, peacekeeper, trader, technocrat, or even a pirate. The galaxy is huge and fully customizable, with over 20 unique races, each with their own ships, traits, and technologies. Exploring reveals secret resources, ancient ruins, black holes, and random events that make every playthrough fresh and exciting. Diplomacy is deep and dynamic—form alliances, trade, threaten, or troll your rivals for fun. Racial differences really matter here. Covert missions let you spy, sabotage, or steal from enemies, but there’s risk involved. One of my favorite features is empire automation—customize what the AI handles so you can focus on what you enjoy, whether that’s war, expansion, or espionage. The ship and base designer is incredibly detailed: build anything from mining fortresses to luxury resorts, mixing tech from different races for unique results. There’s so much to do: ground battles, space wars, building, trading, discovering secrets—it’s all here. Highly recommended—worth every cent! Can’t wait for Distant Worlds 2!
