After updates-Almost a masterpiece
This is absolute gem of a video game. That's cant be overstated. Forget the launch, like No Mans Sky, the launch is in the past and in no way reflects this game as it is today. The world created here is ..its kind of breathtaking the amount of small details on display here. The story and voice acting is phenomenal , the mechanics are great, the gunplay and the different ways to approach combat is also fantastic. Character leveling system takes a bit of time and its kind of a slow burn of sorts but when you get going ; you definitely feel it as you unlock new abilities and grow. Just so much imagination and care has gone into creating this world to get lost in; Its hard not to get lost in it. That my friend makes a peak video game. Immersion, fun gameplay, superb mechanics, great story telling, great voice actors its escapism at its best and that's the kind of thing we desperately need more of in video games. Which brings me to my next point: Its kind of sad in a way; this is probably the last great game from CDPR for a while unless theirs a culture shift within the dev studio away from the ESG fueled stuff they have embraced. I hope for the best with CDPR but usually these ESG types for whatever reason don't like the very customers they rely on to sell products, make money and stay in business. Primary concern for these folks is always pushing some weird ideology , its the strangest thing in the world for a company as you would think they would prefer NOT to alienate over half of their potential profit (customers) but welcome to the end of the year 2024 where ideology is more important than products, customers, profit and even the company...at least, that's how it looks. So lets raise a glass choom and choombas to what was and the hope we find our way back here eventually. Until then, Witcher 3 and CP2077 stands as a testament to how great the studio can be and how we all should remember it.

Thank you for bringing this game to the Mac! I bought this game for my PC at release date. Little bit dissapointed with the state of game content. What was promised in videos with actual content what it brought, city did not felt alive but the story was amazing. Thus i followed it also in DLC supporting you with my buy here on GOG platform where you got full money. Not just part as at Steam. And was not dissapointed. Story went well -> personally did not liked open end :D but whatever i put there 160 hours. And get for my money well created world. And we come back for my first sentence. Thank you for bringing it also on Mac because i need for my work Mac so i bought M4 Max :) just to have perfect/smooth experience also on this platform. For naggers :) I have my regular gaming PC with RTX 5080/7800xd3 but i need "gaming" notebook when i am outside of home.

Great Game
Unfortunately the 2.1 update has broken performance on PC, which is a real shame, as I was hoping to start a new play through. I really enjoyed it at launch back on PS5 via backwards compatibility, so I had to get the PC version when I got my new rig a few months ago. Path tracing looks fantastic and I got it running really well on my RTX 4070 ti and i7 13700F with 32GB RAM (at 4k too, with NIS at 85% and DLSS on balanced), but now it often drops to 40fps for no reason, and it doesn't matter whether I lower the resolution or other graphics settings. Enabling slow HDD mode improves it a little (5fps improvement in benchmark) but considering I'm using an NVMe it shouldn't be having these problems. I hope it gets fixed soon because it's such a good game.
