Flawed launch; hoping it gets better

We all know about the bugs and how despite the several delays, this game is still a mess on launch. Best I can recommend is wait at least 6 months for the many patches and free DLCs to come in before diving into Night City. Because this is an amazing game to play, but its enjoyment level gets potshotted from visual and audio bugs, as well as the jankiness you can spot in a split second as the models transition from one animation to the next. More so when you reload from dying, and a few cutscenes end up getting trippy and weird. My biggest gripe, however, is the zoom sensitivity. Even when I set it up to max sensitivity, the ADS movement is still too slow for my liking. An enemy can be running to cover, and my reflexes (so used to the snappy ADS in Destiny 2) betray me for trying to aim for a spot the guy ghosted ages ago.

Great game, NEEDS WORK though!

Waiting for this day to come has not been easy but with the anticipation I waited. I can't say I am disappointed because that wouldn't be true nor did it live up to my hype in its current state. I have a pretty decent amount of game time currently and wanted to share my thoughts. Cons: -Glitches/Bugs are REAL, some funny, some more annoying. Been fighting enemies who just heal like I am not even shooting them or they fall randomly just tripping and laying down on the ground. NPC's sometimes during combat just stare at the wall or trip and lay down and can't get up. -Currently I have at least four missions I can't interact with the people to start the mission off or I complete a mission and it just remains incomplete. -Controls are ass but have been able to switch them up on M&K, on the other hand when I try to use the controller the game goes full retard and just doesn't work at all can’t move my character its a real mess. -the world events need more variation. Pros: -Combat is actually fun no matter if you choose fist, melee, or gun very well rounded. -Story is so great, it really draws me in. -Side missions/cop missions/ Gigs are fun to complete although it's just a rinse and repeat method it's a grind I don't mind. -The driving is fun and a bit clunky. I have been run over by my car more than once, it has also driven through other cars blowing them up or flipping them which is hilarious (but should be fixed). -The world is truly immersive and it's crazy just looking around. -The graphics are great even on an older rig like mine with shit graphics card haven’t really had many issues with how the game looks. -The replay value of this game is something not to be overlooked. Overall I rated this game 4 out of 5 stars. I think it deserves it even though it still needs touch up work. This game has a ton of potential and I'm excited to see its fine tuning and polish.

Great fun and enjoyable experience.

(re: PC version 1.06 on Ryzen 5 3600X | GTX 1080TI with latest drivers) Wake the f*** up, Samurai. We have a game to fix! ;) Firstly, the game isn't a cRPG but "an open-world, action-adventure story" and any RPG elements implemented in the game in the current form (unintuitive inventory\skills pages) can be quite overwhelming at the beginning. The gameplay does feel like an adventure game so I've been playing it that way with focus on the story and the characters and the last time I've have had such a great time playing a video game was probably 10-15 years ago. Positives: - Great written story, sometimes quite deep, touching lots of problems of the current and future world - Amazingly detailed main characters (animations,facial expressions, moves, voice acting - feel really alive with own personality) - Massive map to explore (horizontally and vertically) and tons of quests - Overwhelming amount of items that can be collected,crafted and use - Keanu Reeves gives a unique personality to Johnny - Panam ;) - It would be an awesome Sci-Fi movie! and a lot more... Negatives: - It does feel like a some content have been cut - Random NPC's re-spawning in front of the player - Bugs in the main campaign - Poor physics (game engine needs more work in general) - Completely broken IA and NPCs collision system - Police is a joke at the moment - RPG elements feel same time overwhelming and underdeveloped - Need more optimisation and gameplay balancing - Cars\motorbikes don't feel encouraging to use them - Can't move objects or throw items <--- - Inventory isn't intuitive and difficult to use with lots of items Otherwise, I didn't have any stability or performance issues (..just treat the recommenced system requirements as a sensible minimum).

Just Great, nice.

Its a good game for now, fine gameplay, some bugs like floating phones n such, the performance lacks a bit but wil only get better. with a few later updates the game wil become a great one. four stars is the max i will give becose thers no perfect game. and its a long way from a three, nice
