Cyberpunk 2077

TL;DR: Over promised and under delivered. Wait for a sale and/or patches. Pros: +Graphically impressive +Great soundtrack and effects/ambient noise +Overall well done voice acting +Interesting characters +Fantastic city design +Good story Cons: -Frequent bugs/crashes/glitches -Lifepaths have very little impact on the game -Choices generally don't matter -Dialogue options don't always reflect what is said -Terrible AI -Pathetic crime system -Very little interactivity with the city -Full nudity is censored outside of inventory screen -The city is hyper sexualized but you get very little actual adult interactions -Driving controls are terrible with mouse and keyboard -Can't fully rebind keys -Odd default key configurations, missing walk toggle -Blurry look to the game (solved with Reshade) -Keanu's delivery wasn't great -You barely get to see your character -Character customization feels limited -They made default female V fugly -Enemies are very spongy -Gunplay was just ok -No official mod support -Community is creating more fixes than CDPR Closing Thoughts: This is the only game that I have been looking forward to in 2020 and it is tragically disappointing. It isn't a bad game but when you look back at what we were told was going to be in the game and what we got; it becomes a huge let down. I had faith in CDPR because they seemed to be the only company that was consumer friendly. But after this release, their damage control, and corporate b.s. from their conference calls; they lost my goodwill. There's high production value here but this isn't a movie, it's a game. As a game, it just isn't that good. At this point they should just release mod tools and let the community overhaul the game a la Bethesda. I'm sure they will patch it enough to make it stable but I highly doubt we will get much of the cut content restored. I recommend not buying this game until there are more patches and a definitive statement about what, if any, content will be added.

It seems you are very proud of what you have failed to accomplish, and are still tooting your horn after the embarrassing launch of one of the most hyped games in the world. You have no shame to lie on your twitter in response to an article that you REFUSED to interview for. This is my way to show you that no, you cannot escape the reality of the situation. You made a terrible, rotten, and decaying mess. And unless you pull a NMS, i will never spend another penny for a full priced CDPR game ever again.

This was a long awaited title, especially for witcher players. This game had so much potential, it feels even more dissapointing especially with ALL THE HYPE, so MUCH HYPE. Pro: - Great writing / Amazing story; - Believable MAIN PLOT characters; - FPS RPG, and it just works. - Gunplay well done. - Amazing Graphics, if you have a good GPU. I have a RX 580 and with tweaking i get a stable 60fps (use Fidelity FX). Bad: - Bugs, bugs, alot of bugs, jesus christ so many bugs. The witcher 3 had bugs also, so i guess we will wait until version 1.33 of Cyberpunk until it is a final product. - Mature content was a big lie, they marketed hookers, relationships, alot of sex. I don't know if executives decided to remove content or SJW journos complained about it. - Stealth need tweaking. - NPCs are very bad, it's like a different company developed this game. - Driving needs some patches, if feels like pubg driving. Overall they were right on mark with the Theme, i like the Bladerunner / Ghost in the Shell style of the game, i just hope it's not too late to fix the game.

The game we saw being built up all these years, some many cool features, customizations, little cutscenes, that made people like me want the game are gone, many places are unfinished, gaps in the UI where something else used to fit, doors closed to prevent exploration simply because they couldn't finish the game. Also it runs very poorly, I have and I770K and a gtx1080TI, I can't get 40 stable fps on medium settings. Soo many bugs, on a 60€ game. I played Kindgdom come deliverance on ultra at launch with less bugs and better performance. Comparing to the witcher the story is short, side missions boring and the endings (so far I only saw 2) are just lacking luster. Feels like CDPR pulled an Anthem, missing pieces, bad dialogs, lack of decision consequences and very little customizations. What have they been doing all these years I wonder?!The only good thing about the game so far are the choices of music that match the world of cyberpunk. My advice, is to save your money this isn't worth 20€, install the witcher again because it feels like these 2 games were bad by 2 different companies.

Rushed does not even being to describe this game. It practically screams cut features and cut content. Some parts of the game are well done, mainly graphics and sound design, and to some extent story as well. However, even ignoring the gamebreaking bugs, Cyberpunk 2077 manages to underdeliver in almost every other aspect. There are a lot of systems in play, yet somehow damn near all of them are rushed and poorly designed. It's almost as if there was no QA testing in place at all.
