Cyberpunk 2077 - Piggyback Interactive Map

Let me state that I think the lot of the 1 star reviews don't understand what this is and are laser focused on the 'It requires an internet connection! It must be DRM!" Let me set this straight, the Piggyback interactive map is a $5 access code to a WEBSITE that handily lays out everything in the game on an easy to read map that has access to landmarks and what have you that are not visible in the game's 3D map. Of course it requires an internet connection, it's a WEBSITE, specifically it's a website code that allows access to track your progress on a handy map if you're after 100% completion of everything, including the 'Hidden Gems', the website itself is free, but you don't get the handy picture-based walkthroughs and tracking system to find anything in the game. Complaining this is a DRM? It's not, it's a website. Might as well complain that GOG has DRM already because you need an internet connection to access the store and purchase games from it. 5/5, couldn't ask for a better companion app! note: I haven't specifically BOUGHT this code from here, but I bought it several months ago from Piggyback themselves.

All negative reviews that are not a critque of the software and usability have NOT interasctive with it in anyway. Not even indirectly. It has a free version avalible through a browser, the paid is the digital addition of the guide book presented throught the interactive map. The internet requirement is for syncing. Nothing about the complaints or connection to CDPR not fulfilling the site promise is true.

And for that £4.99 when the final game will be finished? when co-op and multi? I will not come back to this game until co-op or multi will be released

Technically this is neither a game nor a DLC. It is access to an online service, hence IMHO DRM-free doesn't apply here: you cannot "install" a webpage, so there cannot be an offline installer for it. I agree that this is something I wouldn't have expected from GOG.com, but in their defense I have to say that this goes against all those "steam games have this and that – why doesn't GOG" comments out there: If GOG wouldn't supply this, the now very negative comments would be the other way around. That said, I confess that I wouldn't buy (or use) this map either, since it's unclear for how long such a webpage will (or can) remain... (4 stars for going new ways while staying true to the old ways.)
