Surprisingly good

I really didn't think this game was gonna be anything special, so I went with the good old "try it before you buy it" method. But now, being almost at the end of the game, I have to put my money where my mouth is, because I had a blast playing it. It's a metroidvania type of platformer, with a bigger focus on combat, rather then platforming. And I have to say the choice of character was really good. If you've played LOL, you know Ekko has some of the more unique/interesting abilities in the game and they are put to good use here. Everything from teleporting, slowing enemies, having a boomerang type of throwing weapon (that need quite a bit of skill to be used well) and of course rewinding time, is in the game. It's actually such a good idea to have the rewind, since it makes all the platforming so much more fun and forgiving. Instead of looking at crappy game over screen, you can just rewind and, as the game says, "do better". Ekko also has quite a few melee attacks: the standard combo, charge attack, sweep, lunge and aerial. So combing all that makes the game quite fun, the only problem is it also adds a lot of effects on screen...so sometimes you need to rewind just because you become confused on what happened. The story is very MEH...nothing to see here, but on the other hand the art style is beautiful, so seeing stuff around Zaun is quite a treat. I haven't played league in many many years, but I do however recommend this game (especially on sale) to anyone looking for a good time or a good metroidvania experience.

GREAT GAME!!

I recently have gotten bit by the Arcane bug so I have been looking for anything League related to cope with the ending of the show. I found out this game existed and decided to try it out due to Ekko being one of my favorite characters from the show. This game actually makes me happy. It is different fromt the show in many aspects but I love the story being told. the gameplay is solid and a perfect representation of a Metroidvania. It is challenging but not so much you want to drop the game even at points where it may be difficult to pass through. the voice acting is gawd tier of course and the relationship with certain characters meld nicely. I would highly recommend this game for both League fans, Arcane fans and Metroidvania fans. Makes me want to look for even more content to indulge in the world of Leagu of Legends.

Gimmicky game with annoying enemies

Game is too gimicky and all "tools" require aiming and do not feel good meanwhile enemies are just annoying so when you die you just feel it is due to game mechanics and bullet hell rather than lack of skill.
