Caravan like real

C`mon people! What would you expect from a trade rpg based on middle east ? trading? hard haggle? desert? atmospheric music? camels? royal story? camels? Everything is here. I have it, and I played three times so far and still like it a lot. It`s survival game too. Water is much more important than gold or stuff you carry. You can have camels, horses, donkeys. Building up team of different specialist and followers. Well, I bought it cheap so it`s easy to rank it high. Map is really good, you can learn geography. Characters have kind animations. It is a slow game without a need pause, as you can park your caravan in a town and make yourself a tea and came back and caravan is waiting for next move. Great atmosphere of travelling through deserts. Maybe it is a bit short game but definitely good.

A game to skip

Positives: -Decent art -Nice background music Negatives -Mindless. In game mechanics, items and character types do not need to be utilized at all and might as well not exist. -Story is super sparse and stretched extremely thin. -UI is rough, popups cover each other/ stuff you want to see below them. -Lots of annoying stuff like quests to find a thing between town A and Town B, return to town A but finding the thing doesn't always trigger so you just have to walk back and for 2 to 5 times until it happens, then if you're going the wrong direction you can't stop mid journey, you have to continue to the wrong destination and then turn around. Overall just not very engaging and because of that all the *many* small annoyances really show on the surface.

Simple, clean and light RPG

As others have said, this is a short game, with limited mechanics. However, I found it very charming and soothing, and really enjoyed the graphics and setting. Do not go into this game expecting a complex RPG or storyline. It's quite simple, but engaging and should only require one playthrough. The characters are simply but nicely drawn and the randomness feels quite random (except for the Tutorial, which is obvious and easy to follow). Not sure if this is worth $12, but if you find it at a sale, it could provide a very nice couple of hours of playtime.

In the end, it's just endless dunes

Beautiful, melodic, poignant... and too damn boring. Within 30 minutes of starting the game you will have experienced every mechanic there is. They don't change. They never change. Timeless as the dunes themselves. Numbers go up, random events randomize, the desert remains the same. No difficulty, really. Just patience. Fine if you want to spend 15 hours doing this. I've stopped after three. I wouldn't last long in the desert.

A Great Little Game

I see a lot of negative/poor reviews and it leaves me confused. I think people need to keep in mind that this game is $5.00. Thats 1/4th the price of a rocket league skin and about 1/2 the price of most DLC that only add content to an already purchased game. Reviews saying no replayability are accurate but do you really expect to get 100 hours out of a $5 game? Out of my 1000 + games its rare that I actually finish and beat a game. This is one of those few. What you can expect: A short enjoyable game that can get tedious on the last act. A very fun trading experience with good art. A relaxing and enjoyable experience without a lot of challenge (no Dark Souls here) The game took me 15 hours to complete and got a little tedious 10 hours in. I would expect to get a good 10 hours of enjoyable play for your purchase.
