Fantastic game
I played this game on the Sega Genesis and loved it. It's fantastic to be able to return to it after so many years. My only critique is that I miss some of the extra music popped into the console versions. I feel it made a stronger impact but other than that it's terrific!

Gave it a try
I saw all of the great reviews for this game and I thought I'd give it a shot, after all 10 bucks for a game with consistent 5 stars? Where can it go wrong? The answer is unfortunately, everywhere.. I have never encountered a more pointless exercise of "try try again" in my entire life. The game is nothing but you, running down corridors with no back story, no dialogue, no point other than to die repeatedly. And there is no quicksave, so you will be forced to try again from wherever the dev deemed necessary. This could be two or three obstacles back, obstacles that you died at repeatedly already. I honestly wouldn't recommend this game to anyone. If you already like it, thats great, good for you, but I see this game as an exercise in insanity. Worst 10 bucks I've spent in a long time.

Wonderful title from yesterday...
Proving you need little dialoge to tell an amazing story, Another World. I picked up this copy of the game last year (original author was reselling it, or something) and I have to say the new engine runs beautifully in any Windows version. I went as far to run it on my HTPC (1080p, 42" set) and the game looks beautiful. I forget the graphic style, but if you consider the game came out 15 years ago I thought this game was a brief look at the future of gaming. The game itself plays like the original, very unforgiving, but figuring out each little sequence is challenging, and interesting, and occasionally frustrating. God that sentence is awful. OK Each "room" plays out like those laser disc games (Dragons Lair, Space Ace), if you mess up you die and have to play the room over. A lot of it is just good timing. Oh just play it, for the money it's a good game.

Time flies
Has it been 15 years already? I remember like yesterday being blown away by Another World for the first time. Wonderful art direction, superb atmosphere, totally unlike any other games of the era.
