Absolutely bad game
When I started playing this game I really wanted a good roguelike, but it does not have any positive aspects. It doesn't hook you or motivate you to play it. besides this version is not updated.

Disappointing
I honestly loved Spelunky and Binding of Issac (BoI), so when I saw that there was something new that combined elements from each, I bought it. Sadly, it didn't exactly deliver. This game, while borrowing elements from each, doesn't fully realize any of the elements except random map generation. The game-play just feels shallow along with poor presentation. I mean it's a rogue-like with randomness and perma-death, but without any charm. The supposedly amazing music also doesn't even seem to be very present except for the ghost thing, but maybe I'm just not far enough into it. Most annoying of all though, is that each play-through really doesn't feel all that unique, which leads to a feeling of monotony before you hit floor 20. Whereas BoI with it's almost entirely random and interesting bosses and item drops lead to some of the most varied strategies I can recall. The price is also too high when you can buy the aforementioned professional-grade and awesome games for the same price or lower. Overall, this game just felt amateurish in its own right, which would be understandable if it didn't cost the same as two other indie games that managed to masterfully realize bullet-hell and platforming rogue-likes all ready.

Boring, poorly produced game
There are free flash games with more gameplay and visual variety than 99 Levels To Hell. There are true masterpieces to be bought at the asking price of 99 Levels To Hell. In view of those two things, why should you buy this game, then? You shouldn't.

below mediocre experience
i have no idea why this is being sold for actual money. it feels, looks and plays like a generic freeware game that you download to kill a few hours of a boring day. and you won't even have a feeling of satisfaction after playing it. absolutely no-buy. the only really cool thing about this game is the soundtrack, really
