nicolascy: Great news ! The Dvd version is simply amazing ... Now the only thing left is for that elusive mythical ReelMagic Return to Zork version or if somehow possible a merge of the proper cd-rom version with the high quality movies of the ReelMagic version !
Unfortunately, ScummVM still needs to implement the actual DVD compatiblity for the DVD movie files themselves. The videos are here now which is nice, but no way to see them within the actual game.

Right now it basically defaults to the non-DVD AVI files version of the game, rather MPEG/Vob files.

Also I want both the Return to Zork Cd-rom and reel magic versions there is a enough differences between both.. Puzzle changes, etc....

Did they removed teh cd-rom version entirely? Wouldn't it be better to leave them both? If that's the case they have actually removed something customers paid for.

I'm not sure there is much difference between CD-Rom version and DVD. DVD version is more or less the CD-Rom version with option to use original low-res videos or the DVD quality videos. Except DVD-Quality videos are not yet compatible with ScummVM.

Sometimes they do offer a way to download 'older' release versions but I'm not sure if its offered for this game.
Add me to the list of people who would very much like to see the Return to Zork MPEG version available here. I feel it adds so much to the game.
