Does anyone have any feedback on how well or poorly Return to Zork, Zork Nemesis and Zork Grand Inquisitor work when using DOSBox-X. Supposedly DOSBox-X avoids many of the graphics and sound problems of DOSBox.

Thank You

DOSBox-X should run RtZ and Nemesis the same, but likely a bit better than regular DOSBox. It would be your own personal preference regarding the built in crt filters.
I am 100% sure Grand Inquisitor will not run under any version of DOSBox, since it was a W95 title. GoG currently has ScummVM 2.0.0 included to run GI. Should update that to the latest just to be sure, but probably would be fine if you don't.
You can also use ScummVM with the other two titles you mentioned, which may be a nicer alternative than DOS emulation.

Thank You.

I went ahead and grabbed Return to Zork, Zork Nemesis and Zork Grand Inquisitor as the sale was ending and was surprised to see that DOSBox was part of the installation although it was an older version (0.74-2). DOSBox had a problem with cursor speed v. audio and I wasn't able to satisfactorily correct this so before returning the Nemesis I tried DOSBox-X which worked well as I had already changed the Render option to change Aspect from False To True.

I have not yet installed Grand Inquisitor or Return to Zork.

Thank You
