I have the DVD version of Zork: Grand Inquisitor. I just gave Zengine a try, but the FMVs are not as high quality as they are when I ran the game normally. Information seems to be scarce. Does Zengine just not support the MPEG 2 video files yet? The DVD version comes with CD quality video files for it to "fall back" on if the MPEG2 decoding fails, and I am pretty sure that for whatever reason, Zengine is playing them instead of the MPEG2s.

Which version does GOG have? The disk or DVD version?
GOG has the 2-CD version, but I have the DVD version. I bought it from eBay a long time ago.

OK that's a shame, we need to get GOG to upgrade to the improved DVD version, for the higher resolution videos.

Not sure what that will need to get it to work.

I own the DVD version too, and I picked up GOG's on a sale thinking it was the DVD version (since they offered DVD versions of Journeyman Project 3 and Wing Commander 4 among others).
