Is it only me or is the eye-height in this game incredibly low? It appears to be slightly higher than a doorstep in the Ziggurat and lower than the first board on the occasional bookshelf.

Granted, it adds to the "you're entirely helpless and lost inside this strange place" vibe, but it still struck me as weird.

On a side note, I love how fast you can run in this game. All shooters should have this.

This thread is ancient but I just installed & tried out Ziggurat & I, too, thought there was some (*HILARIOUS!*) programmatic problem which set the height of my character & hence their POV at, well, dwarf size at the beginning. (Honestly I found this quite funny, if initially irritating at times, partly as I couldn't find a fix in-game or in the game's settings menu.)

HOWEVER:

I think this may be a deliberate artistic / lore choice : The Evil Forces that dwell within The Tower (& who knows, were possibly responsible for its creation, if only indirectly by commanding it of their minions, mortal or "immortal") were like Lovecraftian Old Ones often apparently of great size, as particularly seen in the example of Cthulhu Himself!

...If this be The Ancient Truth of Its origins (horrid to relate!), the dimensions of The Ziggurat were surely designed for Its Denizens' convenience; & -- as with even palaces of the mighty among mortals -- perhaps are sinisterly intended to browbeat & terrify mortals who enter, reflecting how Its Inhabitants "dwarf" (*snigger*) those human beings who attempt The Ziggurat's challenge in supreme might!
