It's cool to see that the game got updated! For some reason, my library never told me about it.

EDIT: Oops, forget that. Apparently I downloaded the update when it came out and then completely forgot it had even released.

PaterAlf: Changelog for update 13 build 20152711 /GOG-5 (Windows) / GOG-3 (Mac) (added 27 November 2015):

- This is an update for the Windows & Mac versions of Ziggurat.
- This update fixes an issue with the main title page and not being able to get past it unless the user had internet access.
The second item is what saw me return the game on 14 November and, honestly, as fun as the game was when I played it the first time -literally, one session because I played it at work where I have internet access and when I got home, where I did not have internet access until two weeks ago, the game would not function in accordance with that second item- this sort of issue makes me incredibly wary. GOG is a DRM free storefront, making this sort of thing unacceptable to begin with and I cannot help but question how this sort of issue happened: just what sort of coding problem generated the issue and, all things considered, how could such an issue even be triggered in the first place.

I initially purchased the title on sale for $4.49 and that was quite the discount. Given the way this problem appears I cannot help but refuse to pay a higher price. Would I like to give the game another shot? Sure thing; it was really fun during that one and only play session. I don't think it's unreasonable to ask that the developing parties convince me and others like myself that it's worth giving another shot. This sort of issue should not have happened in the first place and especially with GOG.

I just wanted to say that I also encountered the galaxy.dll problem in the latest version. The game kept crashing until I renamed that file. I don't know if this information can be helpful to solving this bug, but I will add that I never installed Galaxy in my PC.

Changelog for patch 14 / GOG-7 (Windows) / GOG-5 (Mac and Linux) (added 06 June 2016):

- This update's main highlight is the new Gauntlet game mode. This mode puts you in a single room with no chance of escape and throws monsters at you until you are finally dead. Moreover, it's a race against the clock, since enemies will keep spawning over time. Even bosses will want to take a piece of you! Of course, you keep leveling up while picking up knowledge gems, and weapons and amulets will appear from time to time. This mode is intended for shorter runs (10-20 minutes at most), and we may do some balancing changes after getting some feedback on it.

Agnes 2.0:
- We've also improved the skillset of Agnes the Witch based on player feedback and suggestions, so it's more interesting to play. And a plethora of minor fixes

- On top of that, this update features many performance improvements and bugfixes that were found during the port for the console versions, so it should perform better on lower end computers.

MindsEyeSplinter: I'm playing the latest update, and I haven't noticed these two items:

Fixed default FOV being too low
- Fixed a minor weapon switch bug

Anyone else notice this?
Hi, I installed the game (using "setup_ziggurat_2018-05-08_(20608).exe" which seems to be the latest version) and started playing a few minutes ago, but also noticed pretty soon that the weapon switches without me wanting to.

Edited : Nevermind, I just found why: I'm using a french keyboard and so, instead of WASD, I changed the key bindings to be ZQSD. However Q stayed bound as the "last weapon" key. Seems the game didn't even warn about a key binding conflict.
