Hi,

I was playing open economy for quite a while with population up to 13k. However after playing, I realise I stop receiving tributes from my colonies. I tried to enter the world map to attack/raid an enemy for fleece however the attack dialogue box to enlist your armies do not pop up.
Previously my messages ranked above the 1k margin however when I tried to delete my messages, this still does not solve the issue :/

I went to start a brand new open economy game and I'm able to enter world map and enlist my army to conquer however for my saved game this option is to no avail

Any help will be appreciated! Thanks in advance!
I am bumping this post, as I appear to often have this same issue. It mostly seems to appear in the Athens Campaign later on, especially when the Persians unlock. Everything will be fine earlier in play, and then all of a sudden something triggers to cause the world map to stop functioning properly.

Like I can't:

1. Conquer
2. Raid

Those two buttons just completely cease all function, which means the campaign stops dead in its track, which sucks because this one used to be my favorite because of the length of the campaign and it really forces you to get clever with your resources.

I notice normally this strange bug occurs after I expand my city past a certain point, not population though, just in terms of amount of real estate I take up, and maybe even the number of triremes that I have?

I am really not sure what the fix is here, but I am going to keep screwing around with this one to see if something happens or look to another forum to see if somene else figured out what causes this to happen.

Something most definetely triggers this bug, but I don't know what the trigger is.
I have not played Zeus in while (currently replaying) but I vaguely remember in some missions one of the Gods putting on a curse on the city where you can't trade until you appeased them or built a sanctuary to a god that could defeat them. I remember Poseidon being one of the gods constantly putting curses on sea trade in the city and had to build a sanctuary to Zeus to stop him cursing the city. I think Hermes was another that put a curse on land trade. Perhaps this is what you are encountering?
