Well, I've just tested it on my PC and they do work in the "Atlantis Reborn" adventure episode #1 (no fixes used). Maybe the speed hack from Cheat Engine mentioned there will fix your urchin quays? You might give it a try at least, as I've read about game speed related problems of urchin quays

Just a thought - you've no roadblocks on the route between quay and granary preventing them from returning or delivering have you? Also how far away from the granary are your quays? I have attached a screen shot of the urchin quay. There is a man getting urchins but he never returns to the quay. I placed a granary next to the quay and changed it to only "Get" urchin quay. Four months and he never brings back any quay. I have only had this problem on the Poseidon side of the game.

Telling a granary to "get" stuff doesn't make them get food from the production sites themselves. They would get the food from another granary that doesn't have order to "get" but to "accept", "empty" or "don't accept" their respective foodstuff slots.

I've tested your setup in my game, and the urchin quay works fine, as can be seen on these two screenshots here:

Have you tried the speedhack that I mentioned in my first post?

I might be wrong but from your screenshot I can see a man diving... do you have another quay in the map or is it the only one? if the diver is from this quay and if he doesn't return as you say, then granary couldn't be the problem.

Have you tried clearing and rebuilding the quay? or just replacing it with the adjacent port to test if the diver returns?

I cant quite tell from the pic, but you may have a worker shortage. Shut down some industries (or level them) and they may start working as intended.

Yes, but check out the picture and the sculptor studios. In any case, merely a suggestion.
If the building has full workers, there is no shortage to begin with.
Have you tried left clicking near the stuck worker until his animation resumes?
You should see him diving, collecting something from the ground, then coming back up a few times before going back.

I've only seen this problem happen with urchin gatherers, and usually left clicking near them unstucks them.

Ships seem to get stuck too sometimes, but unlike urchin gatherers they seem to actually keep working and eventually do return to their dock.

I have the same issue. I even loaded a save of my play when it was working. Even from there they do not work.
There is some wired bug, they are just stuck. I am definitely doing everything right.
Have you tried this fix?
