Zeus and Europa
Screwed up and needed some more marble to complete Athena's Temple. Talos is guarding the marble of course.
So I decide to use a couple troops of rock throwers to distract him while I get the 6 slabs of marble I need to complete the Temple, to get the hero who then kills Talos.
It works, but Talos is so PO'ed at the rock throwers that follows them over two bridges to the mainland (where new settlers come in). I destroy the bridge to the marble quarries figuring Talos would take one of the convenient rafts the heroes use to get across water.
Nope Talos can't get back to the quarry. So I figure what the heck, fight him
He destroyed Mars' Dragon, large number of rock throwers, Mars' special warriors (twice), my warriors (three times), but Talos kept standing in front of two towers that were shooting arrows.
Finally Talos fell. Took a lot.
But it is a fairly tolerant game if it allowed me to do that.
