Have you had the same problem as me: there in no introduction video (screen is stuck on the Impression Games logo and the hourglass as pointer) but the sound of the video is played?

I got a reply from GOG support here is what they said for me to try on my laptop:
Hello please try and follow the steps described in this tutorial (selecting exactly the same options as shown on the images is crucial) and try if the movies play with this workaround.
