I've searched all 6 pages of this topic list but did not find my issue. Many people asking for help with black screens and crashing but that's not my problem.

I run the game and the introduction video runs fine. Looks like the game is going to play with no problem. Then I get to the screen where I can select Zeus or Poseidon to play and nothing happens. I click and wait. I tried clicking on the "Quit" button at the bottom and that doesn't work either. It feels like the game freezes at this point. I have to go to task manager to stop the game completely.

I have also purchased Caesar III from gog and that game is doing the exact same thing. My drivers are up do date as I have it on auto update and it just updated itself a couple of days ago. I'm running Windows 7 64bit.

I purchased these games quite some time ago from gog and I know they worked then. I played them a couple of times with no problems. A year or so later, cannot play now.

Love these old games and the fact that I can still get these old goodies from gog but I need to know what's going on now. Anyone with any ideas? It would greatly be appreciated.
