About time, those lazy bastards were just "hanging" around and doing nothing productive. At least they could collapse and death-trap enemy tanks :/
Resolution change?

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice changes, thank you.
Lets hope that the volume and scroll speed sliders are on their ways!
Also unit pathing still dull, needs fixing.

Would you guys playing this say that the updates have fixed the issues that a lot of people were talking about in reviews? Like a lot of you, I played this game as a kid and have fond memories of it, but if it still feels like a crappy mobile port I wouldn't want to buy it again.
I still needs a scrolling speed slider but apart from that it became a really great game after those 2 patches. And according to steam they will support this game for quite some time...
What resolutions are supported?
I am playing @ 2560x1440...so that IS supported :)

Hi,

Thanks for providing the update :-).

One bug I noticed was that having installed it under a German Windows version and switched the game to English the manufacturing stuff (robots, vehicles) in the game was still in German. (Switching to German and back again to English did not help.)

[Update: This did not happen when installing version 1.2 over an existing 1.1 installation that already was set up to be in English - however, when switching the game to German the manufacturing stuff would now stay in English... so it looks like the manufacturing stuff always sticks to the language the game was in when you first ran it. (Update: one way to solve this appears to be to quit the programme and restart it after changing the language you wish.)]

The following 1.1 bug still is there in 1.2:
If you press the right mouse button to accelerate scrolling, scrolling suddenly works in the opposite direction - if you want to scroll to the left while keeping the right mouse button pressed you actually have to move your mouse to the right (and vice versa...)! Otherwise normal scrolling speed is a bit on the slow side. And it would be nice if units could remain active after giving them an order.

Cheers
Patrick

I have to say, this works way better than the initial release. Good work! The only thing that would be good especially on a big monitor would be to increase the size on the minimap. It's extremely small in 1920*1080, maybe make it scale to the screen res.
SO, the game is playable now? A lot of people were really upset by how it was remade and I'd like to know whether I should at least wishlist it now ...

By the way, Z is one of the games where it is advisable to switch it to a 4:3 resolution even if you are playing it on a 16:9 screen (e.g. 1280x960 on a 1920x1080 screen) - you see more and you have to do less vertical scrolling :-).
@LucianX: Yes, it is, still has minor control issues though. For example your aren't able to deselect units once selected through the spacebar like in the original. Another issue is that groups that are selected via the rectangle will stay together until you press some button at the lower left of the screen which absolutely doesn't make sense on the PC in high resolutions, because you always have to move to the lower left of the screen to disband a group. I hope 1.2 isn't the last version and they fix some of this stuff to make this version more convenient for the PC.
Hi Guys,
could you please share with me your opinion on the current version avaliable: if the game finally became good enough to play / buy or still remains being a waste of money? There is so much negative comments, tsome of them are quite dated so I suppose the improvements can already be done but I am not sure that all the issues are solved (there were so much criticism). Thank you in advance for sharing your opinion.
