Hi,i just found out that Ys Origin will crash on windows 10 because it won't play the movies because they are mpeg-ps,You can disable the movie play back with the config file but i rather have the movies playing, what i did was re-encode the 3 avi files with vitualdub2 to xvid avi and replaced them in the release folder.

Now Ys Origin starts normally with the movies playing,if someone else has a quicker fix for the mpeg-ps files to play on windows 10 1809 then that would be better.
I'm not entirely sure what the issue on your end would be, as I've just tested Ys Origins on Windows 10 1903 64bit and the movies play fine out of the box. Even removing the xvid.dll file from the game folder the movies still play.
To my knowledge I have no codec pack installed as I haven't needed them for a long time now (I do have iTunes installed however, which may be providing some codecs).

The only thing I can think of is if someone has the N version of Windows 10 installed which comes without a lot of media support in which case this official extension would help https://www.microsoft.com/store/productId/9N95Q1ZZPMH4 (It says MPEG-2 but it comes with MPEG-1 codecs as well)
