I beat the game on PC some time ago using a fantranslation, but I bought the game to support developers (and the localization team), and because I love the Ys series.
Now then, I would like to import my completed savegame from the original release. Is this possible? How? I looked through the files of both versions and didn't found anything resembling a save file.
This question could also be extended to Ys I&II, Origin and Felghana, since I own both the Steam and GOG versions and I would like to export from the former to the latter.

Try looking under "C:\users\$USERNAME\Application Data\FALCOM". (Replace $USERNAME by your actual user name.) I found what appears to be my Ys 1, 2, and Felghana saves there. (Not Orgin, for whatever reason.) Note that you might want to try opening the GOG version and seeing if it finds your saves automatically.

Unfortunately, I don't have any PC version of Ys VI. (I do have the PS2 version, but I'm guessing that transfering the save would require a lot of work and reverse engineering.)
Thank you for your answer :3
Ys6's savegames appears to be in the Falcom folder as you said. Inside the folder I found the savegames of Trails on the Sky, but not a trace of any YsI/II/Fel/Orig savegame in there.
Are the savegames even compatible though? For one, the original version with the fan translation didn't have catastrophe mode.
