I'm running this on an rtx 2060 and the cpu is at full use. Is anyone else getting this? Seems very odd for a pixelated retro game.

That is a known bug which the developers are currently addressing by adding a v-sync option with an upcoming patch.

Currently the game creates ridiculous FPS, which is the cause for your GPU getting a little more overboard than you would expect from a simple 2D game.
