As with many others, I'm getting the "jump off boat, can't do anything else as the stupid woman just keeps staring out yonder and raising her hand to her eyes etc"

Also it's runninng slow as hell, it takes FOREVER to move along the beach as it is... anyway...

I've spent over an hour at a time hobbling around the beach thinking i missed some path or need to time some jumps or something, anything. But no, still no luck.

I've tried the switching fullscreen on/off, no help.
I don't have a multi core CPU so the affinty thing has 0 bearing on me.
I do use a laptop, because my desktop died the death of deaths one too many times (every componant must've been replaced/upgraded a good 3 times over the years) and I can't afford to get a new unit, so cheap laptop is all I got thanks to a nice xmas pressie... but I digress.

I've tried every little tweak I could find on the subject at hand, no luck, i've tired patches... no luck... to be brutally honest, much like with another game I bought here which doesn't work (and support seem blind to getting back to me about) ... this has become a waste of money, and when money is tight as hell, me treating myself has ended up me giving myself a headache where I could've bought something better that actually works and be enjoying myself.
