the shooting seems really off to me. I mean the pistols shoot ok, the shotgun is pretty horrible and the assault riffle is kind of weird. I dig the style and the stealth stuff and story but the shooting for some weapons really bugs me.

I agree, the weapons could have been better tuned, in particular the shotgun which seems just... "off", and the assault rifle which sprays everywhere and fires at an insatiably fast pace.

totally agree. The weapons don't feel right. Not sure how this game gets so much praise if the basic shooting mechanics are poor.

you can fix the mouse sensitivity issues in the options screen if you feel that the aiming isn't up to par.
