Wasn't sure what to expect when I bought the game yesterday, wasn't even sure it would run well on my crappy laptop with its integrated Intel card....

But not only does it run exceptionally well, but it is by far the best looking game this laptop has seen :)

I'm also really enjoying the gameplay and the story as well. Playing on the Normal difficulty setting, and not having any issues with the checkpoints so far. Yes, the level where i needed to avoid the guards raising the alarm caused me to retry half a dozen times - but really, it's not that long and not such a big deal - you learn from your deaths like in Another World and Super Meat Boy :). And not having the quicksave crutch really raises the tension.

If the difficulty truly spikes later on, I might revisit my opinion, but for now I give the checkpoint system a thumbs up!

And.... Adam West!!!!
I agree.

A really fun game, and very unique too.
I hadnt played it before buying on gog either (not even the demo).
And yes, Adam West is always great.
Bought this the other day. Only a little bit into it and already I'm really enjoying it. Great fun and a total bullet fest. This game's all about pace. There's no hanging around or getting lost and there's plenty of blowing stuff up and blowing baddies away. Recommended!
Bought this game on a whim because I was interested in the art style and I completely agree, this is turning into a much more interesting/fun affair that I first though. And dude, Adam West! So great.

Looking forward to playing it a lot more this weekend, nice work GOG! :)
