I bought the game today but can't even seem to install it. Whenever I try to run the setup, my computer will just load and load, without ever opening the installation window. I also can't end the process in the task manager and after a couple of minutes my computer will freeze completely, requiring a restart. I never experienced this problem with any other game or program I tried to install, so I'm a bit clueless what to do. I use Windows 7, 64 bit version.

Hmm, worked fine under W7-64 here, but have you tried setting the compatibility of the setup file itself, to say WinXP?

Yes, I tried that but it didn't work either. I tried downloading with the GOG installer and the "normal" way multiple times, still the same result.

You say you've installed other programmes before - to clarify, have you tried another gog game installer on this machine? If there's one of the free games you haven't installed, try downloading the installer for that and see if it works.

Yes, I've bought a couple of games from GOG and never had any trouble installing any of them.

I too am having the exact same problem. Very frustrating to have purchased something which I then cannot play. Especially as GoG's policy regarding refunds means I am now inelligible for one...

I'm encountering the same problem, using W7 x64 as well. The installer just keeps loading and loading, with the whole system getting bogged down. I just downloaded the 1.8GB file again just in case the original setup file was corrupted or something but to no avail. It's frustrating as I was really looking forward to playing this!
