Just something to keep in mind, if you're linux-based OS user, and plan to buy Xenonauts for using with splendid "Community Edition" enhancement... For various strange reasons, CE offers *only* windows binary (despite fact, that linux native binary of Xenonauts work flawlessly), and there is no way to use X:CE without their provided binary.
(Vague) details in this topic from Xenonauts forum:

Obviously, it is by no means GOG fault or related to GOG at all, but still a bummer, indeed, especially, that it is very hard to foresee this issue before deciding to buy (X:CE instructions mentions installing for "non windows, non steam" users, without even hinting that it will require windows version of game and WINE!).
That said, I still have great fun running it through WINE, even if it is a little temperamental at times (some crashes, so save frequently). I also haven't noticed quicksave/quickload to work through WINE. Some users:

...report dealbreaking crashes with large maps, albeit I haven't run into such issue yet, and I hope never to (Maybe CE unknowingly fixed something in that regard). Anyway, most mods are for CE only, and properly customize,d the game really shines, so no real point in going native binary, but CE-less - you would be *much* better playing OpenXcom, then.
Hope it helps someone to make educated decision,
/Estel
