After WOTC is installed it looks like kind of locked in.
By default it does not find my vanilla save game and when starting a new game WOTC option is greyd out.
I can't deselect it.

On steam there is the launcher where apparently they can choose between the 2 versions.
And XCOM 1 on GoG also had some kind of simplified launcher where you can choose between the 2 versions (enemy within and ennemy unknown).

So, is it possible to play vanilla XCOM 2 once WOTC is installed ? (Without uninstalling it).

Looks like the answer is yes.
- either in the game's root folder that contains two lnk files "Launch XCOM 2" and "XCOM 2 War of the Chosen".
- or above .exe targets on the next locations
"\XCOM 2\Binaries\Win64\XCom2.exe"
"\XCOM 2\XCom2-WarOfTheChosen\Binaries\Win64\XCom2.exe"
Aaah thank you.
I had a quick look but did not see the 2 links/places.
Guess I hhould have looked better :)

I suppose the Galaxy launcher sets the link to the WOTC one, but I think I can create a link in Galaxy to the vanilla one.

In the start menu there will be 2 links to start xcom2 and wotc separatly.

In Galaxy, there's "Additional executables" in the settings menu to run the normal version (or, if you installed both as a bundle, the wotc version).

I attached images showing both.

I'm a bit late, I did not notice the "new message" notification.
Thanks a lot, I totally ignored the "additional executables" feature of Galaxy.
