Hi all

Just as the topic says; I bought the X3 Terran War Pack, I can install the war pack, The Terran conflict is ready to go but no X3 Albion Prelude and I've re-installed the game twice, just incase but X3A.P is a no show! any body found this to be an issue? and is there a fix?

Strange! I always had both Terran Conflict (GOG is wrong naming it Terran War Pack) and Albion Prelude make their own game shortcuts in the menu when I installed the pack. They make their own shortcuts like they were different games and in-game they behave like different games but they share a lot of resources and are in the the same folder.

Installed on several machines (only I play), 2 different Linux and Windows 7 & 10.

Indeed. Just to cover all the bases, I run X3 it on Mac (as well as Linux). The base game, Terran Conflict, is in the main game directory. Within that, there's an "addon" directory that contains most of the additional files required for Albion Prelude.

Are there not multiple executables in the base directory for TC and AP?
Alternately, do you not receive a popup asking which game you wish to load at startup?
It works a little differently on each OS, but the installer should always install both games within the same tree.
I have only played on Linux and Windows but for both of those I need to use the menu/desktop/dock shortcut to get to each game, one shortcut for each. Clear enough? No in-game menu asking which one you want to play. Not home now but when I do get home in eight hours or so I can look how the directory/folder structure is. It really is as if they were two different games.
When I installed with Galaxy there was only the X3:TC option, and I could not find any way to start AP from the client.

I just ran the X3AP exe from the install location when I wanted to play it.
REALLY?! GOG should shut down Galaxy until the basics have been fixed. I have not touched that thing since the beta.
I just wanted to update this to say that today when I had a look at playing AP, I looked again at Galaxy's options. Pretty sure it wasn't there before, but now there is the attached option. So to launch AP using GOG galaxy, and thus get the other half of the game you bought, see attached...

Rather convoluted but at least it is there.

Now there are, or were recently, a bunch of other games suffering from the same problem too.
