If there's a need for it I could also change this patch to fix reversed throttle problems too.

I saw someone on the Steam forums had reported that with their Namco Ace Edge but I don't know if I'll pursue it unless I can get someone to test it for me.
I've just received a message to let me know my throttle fix patch for X:BtF works with the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro as well.

I just sent you an email through your site. I was wondering if the concept your patch is based on can be extended to swapping axes. I went into more detail in the message submitted to the site, but as I used the form on your page I can't copy and paste it now. :)

Sorry to bump this old thread but it seems this fix is no longer working. At least for me and my Thrustmaster T.Flightstick X. I remember it did work (albeit with a loss of music) a few years back when I was looking for a solution and found either this thread or somewhere in the Steam discussions. So I tried it again as I wanted to give it another go but unfortunately it won't change a thing. The setting in the config file only swaps rolling from the stick tilt to the thrust control but the thrust itself is not working (either swapped or not) and I don't know about any other settings I could put in there. Does anyone know or is HiddenAsbestos still around?

You still need to enable the throttle and rudder option in the game launcher, i think... see the screenshots on www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/X:_Beyond_the_Frontier

Of course, that's what I did. Otherwise I would have no input at all from the rudder or thrust controls. It's just thrust isn't working at all, just like without the dll.
I can confirm this solution is still working. After unpacking in the X directory and running the patch exe to choose the right option and save, the box "use throttle" in the game config was unchecked, I had to check it back to get it to work.
See you beyond the frontier.
