Hello all,

I know and I've read that there is no possibility to play crossplatform one on Gog one on Steam. But I should be able to play multiplayer with those, who have Gog version? Because only what I see after choosing multiplayer is lobby, where can I add PC player but actually can't search for a game.

Thank you for your help.

Sounds like you're not running it via Galaxy, or? Without Galaxy the only form of Multiplayer is a Hot-Seats Session...

Thanks for the hint, yes I've found that it was caused by not having gog galaxy. But still, I can't find any game, is there really so few people playing it?

Just take a look at this topic: WMD is a return to form, but T17... please centralise multiplayer! .... and yes, I am getting the impression that there are so few GoG People looking for a match that somehow they miss each other (be it by timezone differences or whatsoever). On the other hand would be nice to hear at least from some that they played it online - so that one can be sure that it actually is working :/

I actually managed to play 2 matches just now (ranked 1v1) against the same person. Yesterday I also had a ranked match against somebody else. Obviously there aren't that many people trying, so it's easy to end up fighting the same person multiple times in a row.

The key is probably that it takes waiting. Once the game starts searching, it'll wait for a second player to also click that button. Sometimes it takes 15 minutes or more (after which you're caught by the surprise that a game has started), sometimes it takes only a few minutes - or, if you're the second guy even just seconds.

I haven't been able to find friendly matches yet, nor have I been patient enough to wait for others when hosting... If we all keep trying, some of us will end up playing for sure, eventually :)
I'd say your best bet would be to post in the forums that you're hoping for all Worms to play at a set time on a set day, so that way, you'll (hopefully) have loads of others on at the same time that also want faster match making.

tbh though, this none cross platform thing is even hitting steam. with it showing only 918 players on at the time of typing this, yet that is just pc steam, no idea for other platforms :(
Crazy to have to consider this really given the game has only just launched, but perhaps we could schedule some times during the week to all try and be on so that there's a chance of getting a decent public lobby going?

Weekdays I could be around any time in the evening from about 7pm - 9pm (BST). Weekends could be a bit more flexible.

Sounds like a good idea. We could aim for 8-9 PM CEST, most people should be home from work by then?

Yes, I agree this should work.
