Pretty much all they want is a remake of Worms Armageddon on every system and if Team17 don't, they go nuts. even if the game gets a 7/10 or even 8/10 they will still say "Isn't as good as Worms Armageddon, like OH MY GOD Team7 fricking teen just give us what we want, we want a game like WORMS ARMAGEDDON, I am aware worms 2 Armageddon/Worms Reloaded are pretty close,BUT they are only a poor mans version of the HOLY WORMS ARMAGEDDON." Yes I know that's a very VERY over exaggerated but they pretty much treat Worms Armageddon like It's the amazing holy 128.68 MB or so of space that should be duplicated on every new system, with some differences but not to much because that would mean their not being repetitive no no no that is just BLASPHEMOUS EVERYTHING must be like Armageddon. The main arguments are that every worms game needs to, have ALL or at least 79% of the amazing, useful and totally not interchangeable; A F**KING GOOD NINJA ROPE IS THAT SO HARD, WITHOUT THE NINJA ROPE, WORMS IS BARE BONES. and also needs to be completely full features look how half arsed worms (2007) it is a complete remake of worms (1995) I mean if your making remake why wouldn't they add in a tone of stuff from worms Armageddon. It wouldn't really be a worms 1 remake but, WHO CARES. and so on and so on. Sorry it just had to be said, I have nothing against you if you like Worms Armageddon but please it's just a game, you treat the new worms like someone's disgracing your religion. Just have fun playing the games, not complaining about EVERYTHING, the worms fan base isn't as well known as the sonic or crash bandicoot fan base so they're not nearly as infamous. Again not talking to the people who like WA or even WWP. But if you're just going to complain that worms games all suck now for stupid reasons, then don't cause I don't want to hear it. Just be happy when you play worms. WOW this was long.

I can personally agree with most of those "Worms fans". You know, Armageddon and World Party were the highest quality Worms games, and the ones with most features, so it´s only natural that most of the later releases were more critized. I can´t talk about the 3D Worms games as I´ve yet to play them, but most Worms games after WA and WPP were just more of the same with less features and weapons. Basically, once you played WA or WPP, later releases were, for the most part, just the same you played tons of hour before but with less content.

The only one that I really enjoyed and thought it was a great idea was Battlegrounds, as it introduced different kind of worms, making at the same time a new core gameplay element in the series, while being true to its roots.

Anyway, I´m not a hardcore Worms fan, just a player who comes back to the series after a while to have some fun :)
