SwitchConfigGOG.txt also meantions:

So it's not like they just accidentally added the Steam configs, they mention Steam and GOG in the same file

Edit: Actually there's 195 people playing on Steam, which doesn't sound too far off from the in game global players list. I tried looking up some of the people on Steam and I can't find anyone currently ingame though, even though their name is in Worms

Double Edit: Wait! Some dude on Steam named "DreiAugenFisch" has their Steam profile showing in game Worms W.M.D, and is appearing in my GOG copy. He's definitely not using the GOG version, I can see the game in his Steam library and his profile doesn't say non-steam game

Alright I just tried with a guy on Reddit, the player list and Global Chat are connected between GOG and Steam, you can talk to eachother but the Servers are still separate, so there's no way to actually play together yet.

Also worth mentioning that the only way to get custom maps and hats is through the Steam Workshop or the Steam Tools, GOG still doesn't have the editor at all. Hopefully they'll work on that after this is done.

It is possible to see Steam players, but you can't play with them... I asked Gog a refund. I think Team 17 should have enabled crossplatform at the beginning. A shame when Armageddon allows you to play with every other users, from any platform.

and only one can set a multiplayer game, beacuse others don't have invitation button in multiplayer game

Mmmmmh I think you can't play online multiplayer in shared WMD copies, hot seat only. Did you buy it? I've had exact same problem with other games I've shared...

All of us bought theirs own copys... each one purchased it from the same online shop (gog.com) and then signed in to Galaxy.
I cant put online game becuase I dont have invitation butten
my friend have invitation button but it doesnt work
another one when she puts a online miltiplayer game and stars to invite players the game crushes
3 of us works fine:D but the problem is rest want to play and they are offline:D:D

what do You think?
