The texture resolution pop-in when turning around is ridiculous -- even with maxPPF tuned.

The game is only using 512MB of VRAM and my GPU has 6GB. I want to make the game take advantage of it so it's not streaming textures from my SSD but I can't seem to get it to work. I've tried +fc_maxCacheMemoryMB 1024 and using the fc_maxcachememorymb command in game console still shows 512, trying to change it ingame throws the error:

"WARNING: fc_maxCacheMemoryMB CANNOT be set in retail!"

What the @#@# ?! Can someone please help?
Stutter, textures pop-in, freezes on 3GB VRAM cards
Set +fc maxcachememoryMB 1024 +vt_maxPPF "16" +vt_pageimagesizevmtr 16384 +vt_pageImageSizeUnique 16384 +vt_pageImageSizeUniqueDiffuseOnly 16384 +vt_pageImageSizeUniqueDiffuseOnly2 16384 command line argument.
