So from what I did read, each time you level up you can go to your guild(s) and pay for special training.

But what if you don't have enough money or you gained few levels without visiting guild(s)? Will you get penalized or you will be able to train for all the level ups you gained?

When you change from basic class to advanced class, do you lose guild membership of basic class?

You will lose all unused training opportunities when you level up several times without training. But this will happen a lot at the beginning, simply because training is pretty expensive.

You keep all existing guild memberships if you change class.

Thanks :)

Seeing as there is no level cap, but there are stat caps, it doesn't look like missing on guild training is big problem.

You are right: usually it's no big deal, and later in the game you have enough money to train anyways. There are two things to look out for though:

1. you can train stats to 20 in the gullds even if the subtext says that you cannot train any further once the stat reaches 18.
2. some skills can only be obtained by learning them from a guild.
